Breakfast at Fred and Judy's house. A memorial Service for Judy was held the day before (see last entry). Judy died January 2, 2007, Fred died February 23, 2006. We had all spent the night at their house.

Brian and Joanne had a holiday tea party. Ben and tracy hadn't met them before, but were coming to stay with us for a few days, so Brian and Joanne invited them as well. Joanne baked really good things.

The Busch's are on a two week car trip. They left Michigan and headed to Sherburn, NY, then to Maine, then to here, then on to New York City, then to Virginia. Places to go to for various reasons and to see various people. They arrived in Hyde Park on Monday evening. We had dinner here. On Tuesday we had take out Chinese food. They left early afternoon on Wednesday.

Ben wanted to come to film at John F. Kennedy Airport on Thursday. I was going to JFK to clean and touch up my sculpture, Curtain Wall. They arrived in the early evening on Wednesday. We had dinner here. On Thursday Ben and Eric Schoonebeck (see next entry) and me left to JFK early in the morning. Tracy and Alexandra stayed in home with Cathy for the day. In the evening I brought Chinese food home for all of us to eat. We invited Eric to eat with us but he headed home. On Friday morning Eric (see entry after next) and I went to JFK and Ben and Tracy and Alexandra stayed at our house with Cathy and left to go to Baltimore about 11 a.m.

Benjamin Busch by Harry Roseman — last modified 2009-06-17 14:38: May 12 - 13, 2007, Ben came over for a visit on his way from NYC to Boston. He is going to Boston to meet with Benjamin Keddy and the other two sound people who are working on the sound for Ben Busch's film, The Forest. Ben Keddy is writing the music. He got to our house in the afternoon of the 12th and left at about 5 the next morning. We went out to dinner and to the South Hills Mall to see Zodiac. he spent part of Sunday in Boston and then went to NYC to buy a new computer (his last one, and Tracy's were stolin out of their temporary aprtment in Big Rapids, MI. Nothing was backed up so this made the loss huge - this is a long story - probably never to be told in Visitors). He missed B & H (the store in NYC) by fifteen minutes. Then off to College Park Maryland to try and finish fixing up that house so it could be sold (another long story). The day sfter that he went to Baltimore for his last day of filming on the HBO series - The Wire - more related to that in a moment. After filming he headed upstate to Albany to take down an exhibition of his photgraphs and was to bring them to Colgate. On route we got a call from him as he was paaing Poughkeepsie on the Taconic. Whe he is done at Colgate he is going to Sherburne, Ny to see if everything is OK at his parent's house and to deal with his brother Nick. then he drives back up to Michigan to spend a few days with Tracy and Alexandra before leaving for Africa to start filming, Generation Kill, a new HBO erioes about the Iraq war. He will have to be in Africa for 17 weeks of the 27 week shooting schedule.
